Packaging too fragile
For ordinary foam + cardboard packaging, it is most likely to damage the sculpture during transportation, because ordinary cardboard boxes cannot provide good protection and cushioning when the sculpture encounters impact.
Packaging too simple
For some large sculptures, wooden strips may be used to secure the outside of the cartons, or wooden strips may be used as frames to package the sculptures. However, the wooden strips are too thin and lack stability, and they are prone to breakage during transportation, thus damaging the sculptures.
Violent transportation
During transportation, sculpture products will inevitably encounter violent transportation, such as randomly throwing packages and causing the sculpture to be damaged.
No matter which situation it is, it is a loss for consumers. In response to the above problems, our packaging team has taken some targeted measures to minimize the occurrence of similar situations, so that our customers can rest assured every time they shop.
Carroful Packaging
Fiberglass sculpture: For each large-sized artwork, we will use two layers of packaging internal and external for protection.
External structure: Customize wooden boxes that meet international transportation standards according to the size of the product. The wooden boxes are hand-stitched by our professional packaging department. The gaps of each wooden box are firmly cut and not easy to shake. We reserve 15-20CM forklift feet at the bottom of the wooden box, which is particularly important for transportation. The presence of forklift feet is conducive to the convenience of forklift loading and unloading in the later transportation, and will not cause product falls or damage caused by violent handling due to improper handling.
Internal structure: Use thickened bubble bags or pearl cotton to fully bundle and wrap the sculpture, and place foam boards inside the wooden box to try to make the product directly contact the wooden box. Pearl cotton and foam boards can provide good shock absorption and buffering for the product during transportation.
Stainless steel sculptures: Like fiberglass sculptures, they are packaged internally and externally. For gaint large outdoor sculptures, we can also disassemble and package them according to customer needs. Each part will be fully wrapped and customized in wooden boxes.
Steampunk art sculptures: This type of product is mainly made of all-metal materials, including furniture. We will use metal frames or wooden boxes for packaging. The metal frame is welded, so it is strong and can bear the weight of the metal steampunk sculpture. The outside will be wrapped with a transparent protective film and a fragile mark will be attached to avoid deformation caused by the accumulation and stacking of other goods.
